absolutely worn out!

havent had a good rest in 3days
i'm gonna make it a point to sleep super early tonight! :D

thursday was great..
spirit filled day! hahaha
had retreat..
it was quite fun, jeannie and i became 'professional' dancers and beat boxers overnight..
man! they should stop playing funny songs for us to do stupid stuff to lar. haha
loads of reflections, loads of crying, although jeannie liz and i stonned half the time..
oh and we blindfolded jeannie for an hour. yay! everyone had fun whacking her and add weird stuff to her food. hahaha
let's do it again jeannie! :D

went home, had a quick lunch and rushed off to expo for prayer meeting
the taxi driver was so funny! yakyakyak non-stop and he kept telling us about his interesting encounters with some of his passengers - apparently bengs love to make out in cabs and go to joo chiat's hotel81. and aunties love to comb his hair and invite him to coffee. haha!

youth day celebration on friday..
i was practically nodding off during mass due to the lack of sleep
it was nonetheless, good.. oh and with father michael, you're expected to hear a lot from sji.
sigh.. if what father says comes through, sji's gotta start producing more goodlooking rich guys if not i'm never gonna get married!
(nope, not cos i'm unwanted.. i dont want my husband to feel inferior cos i'm too awesome for him. haha!)
our youth day concert was very short..
according to joanna, it was because no one wanted to perform
so they got the cat high guys to do it! the whole concert was practically organised by cat high lar. haha
it was uh.. entertaining. haha. we had fun spinning up drama serials to match the chinese orchestra, and wow-ing at the wushu people fly. haha
there was jo's interview, and our cheerleaders! yay! (POS'S BETTER! haha, joking..)
we got some habits of mind (rah) bookmark and a paperclip holder.. cant remember where i shoved it after making paper clip necklaces with liz. SHE STOLE MY BLUE PAPER CLIP LAR! RAHHHHHH
oh and maybe i shouldnt have complained about the previous timetable.. cos i hate the new one even more! :( I WANNA PON SCHOOL FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE! hahahaha..

anyway, we shopped like mad in orchard.. going to all the sales
it was plain madness! especially over at zara..
all the squeezing and auntie-ness, i feel like a true singaporean for the first time. haha!
oh and liz mastered the art of tossing when we were trying to look for a pair of nice jeans from a huge pile of messed up clothings. haha. yay auntie-ness!
oh and we were walking around collecting condom lookalike sunblock. haha

cip today was fun!
all we had to do was to go crazy and give out postcards and balloons in orchard road
oh and to collect loads of free stuff, have fun at world cybergames and get 8hours cip. great!

haha, the two rich brats didnt know how to walk to school from the mrt station lar! so smart!
anyhow, managed to find our way there.. it was so darn far away! rahhhhhhhh

anyway, the carnival was a total flop. my apologies..
it's one of the worst carnivals i've ever been to lar
i was expecting something much better from a rich brat school..
okay lar, or maybe it was because we went really late.. but that's not an excuse! ahaha..
oh well, better luck next time..

we had fun vandalising the school though..
poured weird drinks into the water cooler,
bought chocolates and stuck wrappers and tape all over the place on the way out
and we offered the security guard some of it! but he didnt take it so we left it somewhere..
shant mention lest i get caught and die. haha
oh and we had fun smearing chocolate on each other's arms at the bus stops. haha
for some reason, liz was freaked out cos i was able to lick chocolate off my elbow. haha
and she fell on her butt from the sidewalk while trying to get rid of her stain. HAHA!

somehow i've formed an impression that bengs squat by the roadside and eat icecream
haha, sorry.. just a random thought

nooooo.. school's restarted!
the pain.. and the sorrow! :(

i cant help but to be amazed by liz's enthusiasm.. she messaged everyone on sunday night and on monday morning to remind us that we're returning to school on the 25th. on top of that, she was running all over the place, laughinglaughing and welcoming everyone back to school on monday morning. woah, wonder what time she slept.. maybe she was high on drugs. hmm

anyhow, the new timetable stinks. too many lit days, too much of mrs cheah on monday mornings, and too much amath on friday's gonna kill our appetites before we report for recess. rah. shant complain too much since the current timetable's probably gonna last for only a week. yay

school's turning cooler and cooler by the term.. new air cons installed, conversion of hall into a sports hall, and after three years of surviving school life without a DM(discipline master).. we now got ourselves a DT(discipline TEAM)!
just how great is that.. it makes our school sound darn 'pai'. we need a team of kpo teachers to catch us along the corridors. rah. i'm just glad that a certain teacher whom i'm not too fond of is not a part of it. haha
oh well, maybe others schools got themselves a DA(discipline army -liz). :D

this week's a sucky week
i was supposed to go to school early in the morning, everyday, and i thought that was bad enough already
then.. plans changed and i hafta go to the temple to smell stinky joss sticks and listen to weird chants EARLIER in the morning for the next 3days
whine.. whine.. the pain, and the sorrow! :(
the only plus point about this is.. I GET TO SEE MY COUSIN! :D
oh yes, and nope.. i didnt backslide. it's my uncle's funeral

not much action - jeannie, liz and i reported an hour late
and the worse thing was.. i actually reached school an hour early for lessons lar. haha
i got bored and went to have breakfast at macs while waiting for the two to arrive
it was jeannie's fault why we were so late! apparently she turned really old overnight and forgot how to take a bus. haha
anyway, we got away with some lame excuse lar.. now i'm just hoping ali doesnt call my parents and get us busted.
well, didnt catch much considering how late we were.. just sat around and did our own stuff
i'm guessing the only good thing about these kinda extra lessons is they motivate me to get started on my homework. yay

arc today was uh.. ya. haha

we went through the rules for the upcoming robochallenge thing

and instead of challenging the competition, we decided to challenge the rules. haha

more than half the rules we picked out were rubbish,crap and they contradict each other!

first, they allow touch sensors, but they dont allow the robot to have any contact with the wall

then.. they allow light sensors and they told us there may or may not be any black lines for you to follow! oh and they said something about disqualifying you if 3/4 of your robot's out of the playing field.. how is that possible when there are walls around. then! they said.. there may or maybe not be walls around the playing field!

so what kinda competition is this.. the playing field has no walls or lines for you to follow.. you're not allowed to plan your route by using a rotation sensor.. you cant use a touch sensor cos there should be no contact with the wall when there is no wall.. and same thing applies for the light sensor! so what can you do! haha!

there are certainly stuff to be happy and upset about
but the most important thing is that we give glory to God for all that's happened

well, i'm not gonna go into details for the day by day issues of the conference
that would just bore all of you out and i'm gonna die from thinking about what to type
i'll just type out that things i enjoyed
that would make everyone's life easier :D

so here we go,

things i liked about the conference:

1. the long queuing hours - in case you're thinking.. 'evan! you must be mad for loving the long torturous hours we spend outside in the hot sun!' those were the times when everything had no choice but to slow down a little and let me have a chance to catch up with all that i've missed out on, especially with my long lost pal's lives. besides! the long torturous hours build up your expectancy for the conference k! think positive! :D haha
2. each and everyone single session was exciting,enjoyable and power packed with the tangible presence of the Holy Spirit :D
3. NORTH BEAT SOUTH AT POS! :D
4. everyone performed well for the various competitions they took part in.. congratulations Alexius, Dwayne, Jeff, Jac, Jess, LEILA, LIYUN, sally and everyone else i missed out! (sorry, i'm not thinking clearly now)
5. liu geng hong proposed to former taiwan beauty queen, vivi wang! :D
6. i rededicated my life to the Lord :D
