today's been a rather busy day..

had to go back to school early in the morning for lessons..
it's amazing how the class can spend 2hours solely going through one past year exam paper
oh wait, it was more like.. half a past year exam paper
see, that's how pro we are..
i'm guessing miss yap tried to console herself when she went 'it's okay, it's your first time doing an exam paper so it's pardonable.. we'll treat this as a revision'

went to bata to get myself a pair of shoes to last me through exams
my school shoes are falling apart and i guess i needed a spare one in case my current one tears during exam period and i cant go to school. haha
ah, darn it.. jo was laughing at me like crazy for having to go there to get shoes cos i'm absolutely broke and i spent the 80bucks mum gave me the other time to buy shoes
alright, i dont think i'll feel that bad wearing those shoes as long as no one reminds me that it's from bata
oh well, at least i know my shoe size now.. :D

met up with jo and brought monkey along with us to visit mich at mount elizabeth after that
ah, darn it.. the anesthesia wore off even before i got there
jeannie's evil plan for me to steal her hospital food before she gets up failed
grah..
ah well, i still ate her food in the end.. she didnt want it and i was hungry!
haha, i'm such a fatfat..

stoned around for a long time before she could get discharged from the hospital
oh and i was playing with the remote on her bedside
apparently the speaker from the tv was connected to it and when i wanted to watch tv, i listen to the remote like i'm using the phone
it was so dumb, i ended up pretending to converse with the guy in the tv show while the rest of the whole laughed at me
oh and since the remote was wired, changing the channel wasnt via infrared
but i couldnt change the channel by merely pressing the remote, so i ended up aiming everywhere else.. at the tv, at the patient, at mich's tag and at the main control but the channels refused to switch!
grah.. in the end, i just had to press harder

followed parents to the new office after that
hmm, not too bad..
when the car drove past the building, somehow only three thoughts struck me

ah.. what a waste of space
haha, my mum wanted to murder me when she asked for my opinion on the new place

anyway, had nappy time in the car with mich while parents toured the place
we got cheated.. they said it would only that 15mins. but we ended up sleeping for 1.5hours

trip to the vet was fruitful
it so happens that nothing happened to jo's stupid dog in the end
i have however learnt that while a man's greatest fear is balding, a dog's greatest fear is having to wear that huge cone on their necks. haha

we simply go kuku and start doing odd stuff like attacking each other during lessons, or shoving everybody's wallets into our pinafores after recess. haha
there you have it, this is what excessive studying can do to you.

it's not only just that
the condition of liz's and mine has evolved to a stage when we've started labelling each other to see if the opposite party bathes. haha

MUMMY! IT'S OVERRRRRR!

after slogging for about half a year, NJRC is finally over
alright, maybe not officially.. but hey! there's nothing else to do already! :D
rest of the week's gonna be studystudystudy! oh and maybe loads and loads of sleep. haha

these six months has truly been quite an experience
having to be disciplined enough to commit to a CCA, having to interact with new faces and having to learn to manage both my time and temper. oh and i certainly learnt many new things in terms of robotics,marketing and CLIMATE CHANGE

(tiara speaks on effects, then is this the end of the world?) despite all these, there have been attempts to slow down the effects of global warming. internationally, there have been agreements such as the Kyoto protocol which urges factories to reduce the emissions of greenhouse gases. also, recently, a concert which was to be broad casted across the 7continents - Live Earth has been held in effort to inform the public the consequences of global warming, and how each individual can play a role to improve the situation. individuals are encouraged to reduce the use of energy and petroleum, therefore there has been products such as energy saving light bulbs being released into the markets. also, there has been an increase in public transport to reduce the number of vehicles on the roads. another thing is, as plastics are known to be non-biodegradable, the only way to dispose of it is by burning them. however, as we burn them, harmful gases are being released into the environment. to deal with this problem, the singapore government has implemented a new policy, that the first wednesday of every month, the public is encouraged to bring their own shopping bags instead of using plastic bags provided to by the grocery stores. other than that, retail stores such as ikea and cold storage has completely banned the use of plastic bags.'
